Your Case Manager, Public Health Nurse, or Doctor has determined that you or a loved one qualifies for Personal Care Assistant (PCA) care at home. How will it work if you use Choices Home Care as your Provider?
Who will be my PCA?
An important question, indeed. Choices Home Care can help when clients don’t have any PCA options, as well as when clients have part, or all, of the home care schedule comfortably staffed.
Many consumer clients and care professionals approach Choices with no current plan or ideas regarding hiring a PCA. We can develop that plan.
Do you have a PCA who has been helping you? Would you like to have them continue working for you? We can make that happen. Or, perhaps you know someone who would like to have the job. We can also do that.
Depending on the number of hours and days that you require home care, Choices may arrange for multiple PCAs to provide the best care. Choices carefully builds your client profile, documenting the optimal schedule and every care detail that your PCA should be prepared to perform.
